FM 207 – Using PIPE-FLO to Reduce System Power Costs (4 Hours)
Course Description: FM207 will give students hands-on experience using PIPE-FLO’s System Cost calculations in a Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) environment to evaluate a piping system from a cost perspective. Using the cost calculation settings and the System Power Cost report, students will learn how to account for the cost of power added and lost in the piping system. Exercises will demonstrate how changing system configuration, appropriately sizing and selecting equipment, and choosing equipment location can impact the cost of power for the system.
Recommended Prerequisites: FM 101
Course Objectives:
- Gain hands-on experience using PIPE-FLO’s power cost calculations to evaluate power addition and losses in a piping system
